OEDIPUS AT COLONUS is the second tragedy in the Oedipus Cycle, and was written in 406 B.C.E. by the great Greek dramatist Sophocles. The play is the least familiar out of the three, but is by no means less important than the others. This page will provide a brief outline of the play, by sketching out the plot and going over the characters involved the piece.
