RESTORATION
strip

In the spring of 1998 total restoration of the body took place. The body was stripped, parking damages and rust spots were removed. First a red ground color, then a haze of red paint and 2 complete layers of red paint. At last a layer of transparent finish: that will last for the next 10 years! This job was professionally done by:

My GTX was worth a restauration. Body and motor were tested (and OK)
before they started the job. Every year the bottom and hollow parts
get a new Dynitrol coating. This job is done by Van Egmond,
anti-rustcenter at Alphen aan den Rijn, the Netherlands.
